DEFECT DETECTION AND APPLICATION OF TRANSPORTATION FILM
The scanner, moving alongside the vacuum table, scans a skin. Received data are transferred to MES, which generates a data file. The scanner is aimed to obtain the information on skin edges and flaws on its surface. This information will be used in calculations for further automated rollout, processing and patterns cutting.
Transportation film is applied for further automated movements of a skin through all cells of the robotic cutting center.
The robot, operating the glue system tool, applies glue to skin’s perimeter. Then spools with rolled film are moved to the rollout place with the help of mobile robots. Spools with rolled film are taken from a mobile robot and placed into the defect detection and film application cell. The film is rolled out over a skin with already applied glue. The vacuum table switches on, the film presses against glue and is glued to a skin.
The robot switches the glue system tool to the laser tool and cuts the film over the skin. The cut film is removed.
After the cut film removal we have the product ready for roll-in and moving to the next cell.
